For any of you who regularly check out Channel 4’s - not-for-the-faint-hearted - Embarrassing Bodies, you may have caught a former episode which took on the difficult problem of inordinate sweating. This subject is of specific interest to the Water Delivery Company and its close relation, the Water Cooler Company, because it emphasises the importance of staying hydrated. Considering your sweat rate will also be able to give you a better approximation of how much water you should be consuming, which means you’ll also know how often to waddle to the water cooler. Sweating is important as it determines our body temperatures in humid weather, or when exercising, in fact if we didn’t sweat, we’d expire. Interestingly enough, around 1% of the population sweats excessively at times when they are neither hot nor exercising. This medical condition is titled hyperhidrosis, and those who suffer from it can lose up to four times the regular amount of sweat a day! However much you sweat, it’s essential to keep your hydration levels exactly right. Both drinking large quantities, or not drinking enough water can lead to serious medical issues, and in the UK, it’s the latter that is the most frequent problem. Having water coolers in the domestic space could be just what you need, and with the sizeable range on offer, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
